The Oyo APC 2027 candidates have been formally unveiled as the All Progressives Congress presented 50 flag-bearers for various elective positions ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The unveiling took place on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the party’s state secretariat in Oke-Ado, Ibadan, with Senator Sharafadeen Alli presented as the APC’s governorship candidate.
Alli, who currently represents Oyo South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, called for unity among party members and urged those who contested the governorship primary against him to work together ahead of the election.

Adedeji named running mate
The party also unveiled Soji Adedeji as Alli’s deputy governorship candidate.
The APC’s three senatorial candidates are Senator Yunus Akintunde for Oyo Central, Hannah Ogunsean for Oyo North and Aderemi Oseni for Oyo South.

APC urges members to close ranks
Speaking at the ceremony, Oyo APC Chairman Moses Adeyemo called on party leaders, stakeholders and members to work together for the success of the party in 2027.
Adeyemo said the candidates presented at the event had been affirmed by the party as its flag-bearers for the various contests.
The call for unity follows efforts by the Oyo APC leadership to reconcile members after the party’s governorship primary. The party had previously established a reconciliation committee to address grievances from some aspirants and stakeholders. citeturn0search13
Alli promises inclusive administration
Alli said that, if elected governor, his administration would focus on sectors including education, healthcare, agriculture and infrastructure.
